CONFERENCE PACK | MENUS The Avoca The historic and newly refurbished paddleboat Avoca is an exciting addition to the Quality Hotel Mildura Grand's function options. This venue will captivate you with its beautiful and unsurpassed views of the Murray River and local wildlife. Colour and movement are added by the leisurely activities which take place around its mooring site or by the many interesting scenes that can be enjoyed when cruising. Both corporate and private functions are welcomed on the Avoca. These include: The exclusive use of the Upper Deck – including bar area for pre-dinner drinks and Front Deck for 50-100 people. The Rear Upper Deck seating 50-70 people. The Lower Deck seating between 20-50 people. The Front Upper Deck seating between 6-14 people. The extensive function menus offer guests a range of options to suit all occasions, from cocktail parties to sit down dinners. The Avoca paddleboat is an all weather venue with a difference and is climate controlled to ensure that your time on board is enjoyed in comfort. For exclusive use of any or all of the Avoca a fee will be determined depending on numbers and consumption figures. The Avoca is available for private charter at a cost of $1000 for a two hour cruise or $1600 for a four hour cruise. The Avoca is moored at a private wharf on Mildura’s grassy riverfront, accessible from Hugh King Drive and opposite Jaycee Park.
