History
The Mildura Grand Hotel has a long and respected history and is well known in
the region. The hotel began life as the Mildura Coffee Palace which was
formally opened on April 8, 1891. In 1987 the Carrazza family's association
with the hotel began which saw the hotel blossom into what it has become today
offering a range of hospitality experiences that are recognised locally and
nationally throughout the industry.
In October 2006 the Day Group took over the day to day running of the Mildura
Grand Hotel in alliance with Choice Hotels Australasia. As a result the
hotel became known as Quality Hotel Mildura Grand and the Day Group are dedicated
to the ongoing success of the hotel. The Day Group have had 25 years experience
in hotels and motels in Melbourne and Regional Victoria and are proud and excited
to be leading the Mildura Grand's team. Together with dedicated and passionate
staff, excellent customer service and ongoing improvements the Day Group will
ensure the future growth and success of the business.
